rebecka&zack – married

It feels like ages ago that Rebecka reached out to me regarding her wedding photos. We had emailed back and forth for months, and then finally had a small consult a month or two before the big day. I sympathize with you brides who do so much planning, so far in advance, only to have the day arrive and be gone. It’s such a real thing, and proves how quickly time moves.

Rebecka and Zack’s day took place at Foggy Mountain in Stahlstown. The girls had a space reserved, where they listened to music, had mimosas, and did their own hair and makeup. The guys, in another building, hung out and got dressed, flasks in hand.

The weather thankfully held out for a nice outdoor ceremony, followed by some outdoor formal shots, and then the rain took over. Rebecka, Zack, and I had just taken a few photos by the chapel, when the sky darkened and the rain came pouring down. Luckily for them, the skies eventually cleared, and we were able to get a photograph under a beautiful rainbow.

Dj Larry kept the reception alive, as usual, with open mic, hula hoops, balloon animals for the kiddos, and an endless playlist of good dance jams.

These two have been together since high school, so I know that there are so many more good things in store for them. Wishing you “life buddies” the best happily-ever-after, and then some. ❤
