laurel&levi – married

I had known Laurel’s mom from a previous networking group, and she asked me to photograph Laurel’s senior pictures a few years ago. I drove out and photographed Laurel with her horses, and honestly, it was amazing. I LOVE horses and just how gorgeous they are, and I loved the way Laurel interacted with them and calmed them down. During the session, Laurel had a different request: “I’d like to get a few pictures with my boyfriend, too, if that’s ok.”

That’s when I met Levi.

He was quiet. A gentleman. A country boy. And Laurel gazed at him and had a different light about her when he was there.

Fast-forward to present day, and here I am photographing their wedding. A small group of us (specifically Laurel’s mom, soon-to-be mother-in-law, and sister / maid of honor) started the morning at Sanctus Salon in Bradenville. I loved the atmosphere, and the inspirational quotes/scripture throughout (even the worship music over the speakers – okay, Sanctus, I see you!). Afterwards, we headed to Laurel’s parents’ to get ready, followed by a first-look between her and Levi at Twin Lakes in Greensburg.

Waterworks Pub & Event Center was the location the rest of the night, as the rain held off for a gorgeous outdoor ceremony, and a reception on the property indoors. I love to shoot receptions at Waterworks, due to the light wall and ceiling colors and tonnnsss of natural light through the windows (where my light-and-airy lovers at?!).

I’m so happy for these guys. After hearing their vows to each other, I know they already have marriage figured out.

Congrats to you both, and I wish you the very best. Xo!
